Commissioners' Office - Solicitor
Candidates should have JD from an accredited law school. Three to five years practicing in administrative and/or public entity matters, municipal law, and/or having managerial experience preferred. Must be duly admitted and a member in good standing of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Knowledge of federal, state, and local statutes, the County Code, laws, precedence, principles and practices governing and/or affecting local civil law. Knowledge on procedures relating to areas of labor and employment, assessment, election, contracts, procurement, insurance, prison, and the like preferred.
